OUR STORY

Pam Victor, a St Paul girl, met Dave Libertini from Hudson Ohio in February of 1986 at work in Washington DC.   The two fell in love packed up and returned to Pam’s home state of Minnesota and were married Thanksgiving weekend that same year.    Both had a love for sports throughout their schooling years.  Pam played Basketball, squash, loved to swim and play tennis.  Dave was a basketball, Football and baseball player and earned a full scholarship to Kent State to play football.

The couple went on to have a daughter Tori and sons Timmy and Robert.  While the children were growing the parents were very active in their youth sports both coaching and running baseball and football programs in Mendota Height Minnesota.   Dave served as baseball commissioner and football commissioner for several years and coached for almost 10 years.   Many summer weekends were spent running baseball tournaments and running the concession stand.

Pam’s family The Victors, have owned property in St. Croix Falls on Deer Lake since the 1930’s.  Pam has been coming to St. Croix falls since she was born in 1962.  Around 2016 the couple purchased their own home separate from the family home on Deer Lake.   Pam and Dave both enjoyed Tennis and were members of the Lilydale Club in Mendota Heights for years.  In the last few years, pickleball has become their new hobby.

Struggling to find places to play in St Croix Falls they decided to build and start their own sports Facility in St. Croix Falls.

St. Croix Racquet Club, dba as St. Croix Pickleball, was born.

They bought land and plan to build a brand new multi-sport, indoor/outdoor facility on Highway 8.

In the meantime, an indoor location with 3 Pickleball Courts, Batting Cage and Golf Simulator will open in the industrial park behind Marketplace Foods in St. Croix Falls.

Future amenities will include indoor and outdoor space, tennis, basketball, and potentially other sports down the road.

The couple is excited with this new venture and looks forward to opening this facility in St. Croix Falls.

Opening day is October 27, 2023!
