ST. CROIX FALLS, WIS. (Oct. 13, 2023) – An indoor multi-sport venue will open in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, in November 2023. This new facility will include pickleball courts, basketball courts, batting cages, and a golf simulator. St. Croix Pickleball intends to create a facility where individuals, teams, and groups can gather and play sports year-round. Memberships to St. Croix Pickleball are available now.

Dave Libertini and Pam Victor Libertini, whose family has owned property on Deer Lake in St. Croix Falls since the 1930s, grew up with a love of sports which they passed on to their three children. While their children were growing up, Dave and Pam were very active in youth sports, both in coaching and running sports programs. Pam had been visiting St. Croix Falls since 1962. Around 2016, Dave and Pam purchased their own home on Deer Lake. They both enjoyed tennis and, in the last few years, pickleball became their new hobby. Struggling to find local places to play, they decided to build and start their own indoor/outdoor sports facility in St. Croix Falls on Highway 8.

This future recreation facility will facilitate pickleball, tennis, basketball, and baseball/softball batting cages. Other opportunities, like a golf simulator, are also possibilities. As permitting and building takes place for this facility, work is underway at a temporary facility, located behind MarketPlace Foods at 1330 220th Street, St. Croix Falls, which will open this November.

The couple is looking to the public to help spread the word about St. Croix Pickleball. “We are excited about this new venture and look forward to serving the community with expanded indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities,” said Dave Libertini. “We can’t wait to host you and your friends at our new indoor courts!”

Memberships to St. Croix Pickleball are now open. Those interested can visit stcroixpickleball.com to find out more and get signed up. People will be able to make court reservations through the website, learn how to play pickleball, and can follow progress on the new, larger facility on Highway 8.

The Falls Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, October 27 at 12:00pm. The public is encouraged to attend to check out St. Croix Pickleball!
